The existing covered space behind the house is the main connection between the living room and the outdoor patio area which is often used.

That part of the yard was renovated several years ago. But given the existing orientation to the north, glazing of that part of the garden was needed to prevent cold air from penetrating.

Glass sliding curtains were selected as a closing option.
